Aiden's 1st Soccer Game and EASTER!!

I guess I will start with Aiden's 1st soccer game. It was this last Saturday and let me tell you, he LOVED it!!! He was so ready to play and score and score he did. He scored a couple of goals for the other team and a couple for his own. He is so nice, don't you think? Aiden and some of his team got a bit distracted by some bubbles that someone was blowing on the sidelines. Distracted enough to run around the soccer field trying to catch them. It was so cute. Aiden's coach is very patient and kind with the kids, especially since many of them, including Aiden, don't follow directions very well. Aiden was busy eating oranges on the sideline after half-time and then just got up and started playing. The coach kindly brought him back to the side and explained that he needed to let the other kids play for a time. Aiden was fine with that, just didn't know.

Easter was fun for us but pretty low key. We, or should I say Jay, (or I guess the Easter Bunny) got Aiden a Nerf gun and some other little things. Aiden loved it. We didn't get Aiden any candy but he did get some. After playing with his new, powerful nerf gun we all got ready for church and boy let me tell you; Aiden was ADORABLE! I tried to get a good full-body shot of Aiden but he wouldn't let me. I got a great close-up though.

After church we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Bugarin's house for some yummy food (that Aiden never eats) and a very chilly, rainy, egg hunt. Aiden had a blast, of course. Grandma Guia even put money in the eggs. When Aiden saw his egg with money he says,"I need to put that in my account." This is funny because he thinks his account is his piggy-bank. So funny! So we finished at the Bugarin's and headed back home so I could make some food for our dinner with the Adams Family, or as Aiden's say, "Little Emily's house." We had a great dinner and AWESOME homemade rolls. I need the recipe. Okay, so Aiden and "Little" Emily and her younger brother Jacob had a great Easter Egg Hunt in the backyard. It was also chilly but not raining. The kids had a great time and loved all the candy. After dinner and the Egg hunt we had the kids sing and dance for us. What a blast. Robert, our dear friend from Venezuela, came along too and had such a wonderful time playing with the kids and eating most of the homemade rolls. I am so glad that he is here.
I am so grateful for another Holiday that reminds me to remember my Savior and be a better person. Here are some more pictures from our great weekend.
