April's big news!

I will let this first little video be the intro to this entry.

So SURPRISE!!! I love how Aiden's eyes are scanning from Jay and I back and forth to make sure what he had just heard was true. I love my little man! The next little clip started in mid sentence but you will figure out what he is talking about.

Well after nearly 4 long years of waiting and trying to have another child we were finally blessed by this pregnancy and soon a baby. The baby will be coming in November and we are so EXCITED!!! We didn't expect it and are so grateful the day has finally arrived that I can carry a child again.

With that being said, pregnancy has never been easy for me. As most of you may know my pregnancy with Aiden was fraught with vomit, IV's, doctors visits, and fainting. I didn't get to really enjoy it and then he came early and the delivery was not very great either. However, the LONG and hard journey of carrying him was well WORTH it.

This pregnancy has not been easy BUT it has not even come close to my first experience. I was sick up until the last week or so (I am on 8 days of NOT throwing up, as I write this). I am finally able to be productive and be a better mom to Aiden. I am really trying to enjoy the journey and treat this as it may be the last (considering our past difficulties). I had a hard time because I was attempting to finish the semester incredibly ill and was given some mercy and grace from above to be able to finish the semester strong. Luckily, the doctor gave me some anti-nausea pills that helped a ton. Although I did throw up in his office so maybe that sealed the deal.

All in all we are so grateful and happy to finally be able to share this kind of news with our friends and family. Thanks for all your love and prayers!

Congratulations Sarah! That's a funny video of Aidan - our favorite part of having more children has been announcing it to the kid-dos we already have, love their reactions! Congratulations and all the best on a safe and healthy pregnancy!

PS - Crystallized Ginger and ginger chews (Cottonwood Health Cottage in Greeley or any health food store) are the BEST help for the morning sick-ee-ness or anything ginger - sometimes it tastes the worst, but then you start feeling better and think to yourself "I'm happy to eat more ginger as long as I can feel like THIS!" Only took 5 pregnancies to find this trick out! Sounds like your pretty much all thru with that phase -- hope the morning sickness part stays away from this point forward!
