This afternoon Jay, Aiden, and I headed to the park to play some soccer and as we were getting out of the car Aiden heard sirens in the distance.
So he got back into the car and said, "Oh, Mom we need to pray."
I said, "we do?"
To which his reply was, "yes Mom for the people."
So I said, "Okay."
So Aiden said a prayer. "Heavenly Father please bless those people that the sirens are going to so that they are okay."
Jay and I just looked at each other and smiled. I am so grateful for his kind and thoughtful heart. He is still all boy and loves to ignore directions but loves to pray. I love my boy!
P.S. I will soon post Aiden's party pictures and other happenings...I promise.

What a sweetheart!
Kids are such good examples to us adults. What a sweetie!
You've done an amazing job raising Aiden and it shows! By the way, did I ever give you that recipe for that breakfast stuff? I can't remember. That was like 7 months ago, sorry if I didn't just let me know I can e-mail it to you. I sure wish we lived closer to you guys.
Wow... he is such a wonderful boy. The children that come into the world now are so strong and sweet.
You both need a hug... Being parents is a hard job and you are doing well with it.
Keep up the good work.
Love you Connie
