Flash Back To 2004

Five years ago today I was at St. Luke's in Denver recovering from an emergency C-section for which produced a 5lb. 2 oz. 17 inch boy, Aiden Roberto Bugarin. Aiden had a head full of hair...and a neck full...and a shoulder full of hair! Aiden, you were beautiful! I couldn't believe you were finally here especially after such a tumultuous pregnancy. We had a 6 day stay at the hospital from Monday to Saturday and it was really nice. You lost a bit of weight and were down to 4lbs. 14oz. and mommy was trying to figure out how to move without using my core(NOT EASY). We had plenty of visitors including all your grandparents and many of your cousins and aunts and uncles. You were the 1st Grand baby on Daddy's side of the family and the 12th Grand baby on Mommy's side of the family.

You were a joy the minute you joined our family and we are so grateful for your little spirit in our home. You have been a challenge at times (i.e. ear infections) but mostly you have been so much fun! You make us laugh and cry with joy. I love the way you are always telling me that I am beautiful and you love me "to the moon" or you love me "to China." However when I ask you where China is, you say, "how should I know mom?" You love to read, for which I am so happy. I love to read to you even when you interrupt the entire time to ask questions or point something out. You are a supreme athlete and FULL of energy. You thrive on competition (I don't know where you get that from) and love to participate in sports. You love the Gospel and going to Primary. You are always reminding me to say prayers when I lose things (like my purse). I love you more than I ever could have imagined. You are smart, curious, funny, beautiful, quirky, loving, and sweet. HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY AIDEN!!!!!!
